Full list of AMVCA 2023 Winners
The global film-TV-awards light was heavily beamed on Nigeria, as all paths lead to Eko Hotels, Lagos State. The highly anticipated 9th edition of the Africa Movie Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) was finally held on Saturday, 20 May.
IK Osakioduwa and former Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi anchored the remarkable event.
Osas Ighodaro won Best Actress in Drama. The former Big Brother housemates win massively at the event—Tobi Bakre won Best Actor in Drama, Elozonam won Best Online Social Content Category, and Russet won the ‘Best Original Drama Series’.
The social media influencer, Enioluwa Adeoluwa got Best Dressed award for the year (Male), while the Ex BBNaija housemate, Beauty Tukura won the AMVCA Best Dressed award for the year(Female)
Veteran Thespian Patience Ozokwo, won the 2023 Industry Merit award.
Kunle Afolayan’s Anikulapo also won the Best Overall Movie, in Africa.
