A new sneak peek of “JAGUNJAGUN”, the upcoming action thriller starring Femi Adebayo, Lateef Adedimeji, and Odunlade Adekola, has been unveiled.
The film, helmed by duo visionary directors, Adebayo Tijani and Tope Adebayo Salami, tells the story that talks about the two important days of our lives: the day we were born and the day we find out WHY we were born. The sneak peek showcases the spectacular visuals, the thrilling stunts, and the captivating plot that have made Femi Adebayo one of the most respected filmmakers in Nollywood.
Femi Adebayo, the producer of the 2022 box office success, Ageshinkole, is again raising the bar; and Nollywood will never remain the same again.
After the making of Ageshinkole, a level of consciousness about Yoruba folktale was created in film aficionados around the region. For instance, James Amuta, a revered filmmaker in Africa, wrote, “It’s a masterclass in storytelling. Classic Nigerian storytelling – even the effort at visual storytelling is praiseworthy. Well, the only snag was the VFX- but quite understandably, VFX is expensive! But production design was spot on. I’m still in disbelief. You could tell that the budget was low, but the passion and talent invested in the film – HUGE.”
And now, a new sun is rising upon Nollywood, the second largest film producer in the world.
The producer of the new movie unequivocally stated on his social media page that, “The dream was to surpass Agesinkole in every ramification. It almost seemed impossible because people kept asking “WHAT ELSE COULD BE BIGGER THAN Ageshinkole??” Well, it happened. We beat our record! We made a didactic story about LIFE, POWER, PEOPLE, CHANGE, CHANCE and PURPOSE.”
Femi concluded by hinting at the core of the story, “We made a story that talks about the TWO important days of our lives as HUMANS – the day we were BORN and the day we find out WHY we were born… This movie made warriors of us; it called to our inner strength – and we answered.”
Without an aorta of doubt, I believe Jagunjagun is going to be another monumental success in the Nigerian Film Industry and beyond.
“JAGUNJAGUN”, a Netflix Original Movie, is scheduled to premiere on August 10th, and is anticipated to be one of the biggest hits of the year.
